Cedar's Mediterranean Grill

Cedar’s Mediterranean Grill is a delicious blend of predominantly Italian and Lebanese food, with the same heart-healthy ingredients known throughout the regions. Cedar’s opened in February 2008 and was formed from the merger of two popular local restaurants. They have kept a few of the old favorites, like the 1/2 pound burgers that were so loved at Daddy’s Grill and the famous Death by Garlic sandwich. Some items are different on the lunch menu than the dinner menu, so make sure you check out both lunch & dinner menus. And you absolutely have to try Raymond’s Crawfish Chowder. It’s so delicious! When I was pregnant with my third child, I went to Cedar’s at least once a week, just for Raymond’s Crawfish Chowder!

In the 2010 Best of Bastrop County, Cedar’s was voted first place for Best Italian and third place for Best Restaurant. The atmosphere is casual and cozy. In the evenings, they lower the lighting to create more ambiance, and the rear dining room now also features an electric fireplace. This is a great room for private parties or to serve big groups. Cedar’s also caters private parties and events, and the menu is not limited to only Italian and Mediterranean dishes. Did I mention Raymond’s Crawfish Chowder???

Cedar’s is opened Tuesday–Thursday from 11:00am-9:00pm, Friday and Saturday from 11:00am-9:30pm, and Sunday from 11:00am-3:00pm. Cedar’s is closed on Mondays. Located at 904 College Street, Cedar’s is situated on the westbound frontage road of Hwy 71, just before you get to the Colorado River bridge. For more information, visit http://cedarsmedgrill.com/.
