Holiday by the Tracks - 2010

Holiday by the Tracks includes a day of shopping in historic Downtown Elgin and live music in Veterans Memorial Park on Saturday, Dec. 4th, from 10am-8pm. This year, the featured musician is Judy Pancoast. She will perform throughout the day, sharing the stage with Patty Finney, Jan Seides, Sara Dinan, Minnie and Ella Jordan, Sarah Page and Raymond Ott, and MOVE - Musical Outreach Volunteer Entertainers. The Holiday Bazaar will include locally famous Lopez Burgers, art projects for the kids, and pictures with Santa. Plus, admission is FREE!

The festivities continue with the Christmas Craft Fair at the Elgin Public Library from 10am-4pm and the Elgin Volunteer Fire Department Lighted Christmas Parade, followed by a live auction of decorated Christmas trees to benefit local nonprofit organizations. The parade route follows Main Street from 11th to Brenham starting at dusk. The evening concludes with a live nativity performance by St. Peter's Lutheran Church. For more info, click here.
