Candlelight Stroll - 2010

I finally got my computer back and working... I can't tell you how hard it was to go without a computer for almost two weeks!!! And this is one of the busiest times of the year for "things to do" in Bastrop County! I hope everyone was able to make it to the Lost Pines Christmas celebration in downtown Bastrop last weekend, along with all the other awesome holiday festivities that happened over the past two weeks. What a fun time to live in Bastrop!

Tonight, grab your flashlight, jacket, and mittens (it's going to be cold), and come on down to the Candlelight Stroll, a wonderful time-honored Christmas tradition. Christmas carols, a moonlight stroll, a Scripture reading, fellowship, friends, and Christmas spirit... what a great way to celebrate this beautiful holiday! There are two routes: North--start at the kiosk on Main Street, then to Calvary Episcopal, to the Christian Church, to First Baptist, ending at Ascension Catholic; South--start at Primera Baptist, then to Bastrop Bible Church, to First Assembly of God, to Paul Quinn AME Church, ending at Ascension Catholic. The stroll begins at 7:00pm and ends at Ascension Catholic Church for refreshments.
