Bastrop Garden Tour - 2011

Spring has sprung! And what a better way to enjoy this beautiful spring weather than by admiring the gorgeous gardens of Bastrop on the Bastrop Garden Tour. Stroll down the garden path... through five wonderful residential gardens in Bastrop’s historic district. The sites on the tour include: 1407 Main Street, 1311 Pecan Street, 1109 Pecan Street, 908 Pine Street, and 710 Jefferson Street.

Is it just me, or have you ever driven by some of these lovely historic homes in downtown Bastrop and wanted to take a peek in their backyards? Well, here's your chance! (Without getting in trouble for tresspassing!)

The tour will be on Sunday, April 10th, from 1-5pm, weather permitting. The Bastrop Garden Tour is hosted by the Calvary Episcopal Church. Tickets are $10/person, and children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult. Tickets are available “at the gate”—at each garden site, as well as at Calvary Episcopal Church's Parish Hall, located at 1028 Main Street. For more information, visit http://www.bastropgardentour.com/ or contact the Calvary Episcopal Church at (512) 303-7515. You can also check out their facebook page by clicking here.
