Live Music This Weekend 6-1-12


Friday, June 1st
  • Pickin' on the Porch, various artists, 6-10pm at LarryLand Music, located in the Crossing at 601 Chestnut Street in downtown Bastrop. Plus, the Bastrop Brewhouse will be there with FREE beer, t-shirts, and mugs!!!
  • Byrd & Street, 6pm at the Roadhouse, located at 2804 Hwy 21 East in Bastrop.
  • Blue Ribbon Band, 7pm at Gracie's (The Grace Miller), located at 706 Pine Street in Bastrop.
  • Jon Burklund, 7pm, Maxine's on Main, located at 905 Main Street in Bastrop.
  • Ben Johnson, 7pm at Huebel's Bier Garden, located at 207 NW 2nd Street in Smithville.
  • Briana Adams, 7pm at Papa Woody's Icehouse, located at 147 East Old Hwy 20 in Paige. Tickets are $12 and include Briana Adams, Cody Hodges, and Jason Boland and the Stragglers. You can purchase tickets at the door or online here.

  • Bruce Fraser, 7:30pm at Shellers Barrelhouse Bar at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort and Spa, located off of Hwy 71 in Cedar Creek.
  • Academy Jazz Players, 8pm at the Lumberyard Music Hall, located at 1109 Main Street in downtown Bastrop. $7 cover. BYOB.
  • Desperado Rose, 8:30pm at Brenda's 1441 Bar & Grill, located at 395 FM 1441 in Bastrop.

  • Sherwood Forest Faire June Gathering, live music begins at 11pm at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem Pub, located on the Sherwood Forest Faire grounds. Open to the public. Free admission.
  • Jason Boland and the Stragglers, 11:30pm at Papa Woody's Icehouse, located at 147 East Old Hwy 20 in Paige. Tickets are $12 and include Briana Adams, Cody Hodges, and Jason Boland and the Stragglers. You can purchase tickets at the door or online here.

Saturday, June 2nd

  • Bastrop River Company's Grand Opening, live music from 2-6pm at the Bastrop River Company, located in the Crossing at 601 Chestnut Street in downtown Bastrop.
  • Sherwood Forest Faire June Gathering, live music begins at 6pm at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem Pub, located on the Sherwood Forest Faire grounds, followed by dancing and drumming around the fire within the Seven Sisters Sacred Stone Circle. Open to the public. Free admission.
  • Jon Burklund, 6pm at the Roadhouse, located at 2804 Hwy 21 East in Bastrop.
  • Melissa Sellers Band, 7pm at Gracie's (The Grace Miller), located at 706 Pine Street in Bastrop.
  • Shop Dawgs, 7pm, Maxine's on Main, located at 905 Main Street in Bastrop.
  • The Watts Brothers Band, 7pm at Huebel's Bier Garden, located at 207 NW 2nd Street in Smithville.

Sunday, June 3rd
  • Country Music Jam, 2-6pm at the American Legion Post 533, located at 3003 Loop 150 East in Bastrop. Hosted by The Country Side Men. Traditional country and western dance music of yesteryear. If you play or sing, bring your instrument and join the fun! No cover charge, family friendly, smoke free, air conditioned, public welcome. Cold drinks are available.
