Top 10 Things to Do This Weekend (Nov 20-22, 2015)

1. "Cinderella Waltz" - Nov. 20th, 7pm at the Bastrop Opera House, located at 711 Spring Street in Bastrop. Performed by the Bastrop High School Theatre Arts Program. Mild adult themes. Tickets are $5/person. Purchase tickets at the door.
2. Open Mic Night - Nov. 20th, 7-10pm at the Owl Wine Bar & Home Goods Store, located at 106 N. Main Street in Elgin. Musicians, poets, and spoken word artists are all welcome. Admission is FREE!
3. A Sugar Plum Christmas at The Colony - Nov. 21st, 9am-3pm at The Colony Amenities Center, located at 368 Stephen F. Austin in Bastrop/Cedar Creek. Shop 'til you drop with custom boots, original artwork, jewelry, handmade gifts, purses, health & beauty products, and more.
4. Intro to Canoeing - Nov. 21st, 10am-12pm at McKinney Roughs Nature Park. $30 per person, adults and children ages 14 and up; children ages 10-13 may participate with an adult sharing a canoe. Preregistration is required.
5. Smithville Trades Day - Nov. 21st, 10am-3pm in downtown Smithville. Live music, shopping, food, and more. Admission is FREE!
6. Book Signing with Peggy Consolver - Nov. 21st, 11am-1pm at the Living Room Book Store, located at 301 Hwy 71 W, Ste. 100 in Bastrop. Meet writer Peggy Consolver, author of "Shepherd, Potter, Spy and the Star Namer."
7. Pictures with Santa - Nov. 21st, 2-4pm at the Front Room Wine Bar, located at 116 Main Street in Smithville. Bring your own camera. Admission is FREE!
8. Opening Reception of "From the Heart of the Megalopolis" - Nov. 21st, 7-9pm at Mosaic Art & Home, located at 218 Main Street in Smithville. Enjoy snacks and drinks and meet artist Wanda Gamble, Smithville's noted impressionist painter. Wanda's paintings can be viewed through Dec. 31st.
9. Yoga on the Patio - Nov. 22nd, 8:30-9:45am at Neighbor's Kitchen and Yard, located in the Crossing at 601 Chestnut Street in Bastrop. All levels welcome, bring your own mat. Suggested donation of $10-20.
10. Oh! Happy Sunday Gospel Lunch - Nov. 22nd, 12pm at Neighbor's Kitchen and Yard, located in the Crossing at 601 Chestnut Street in Bastrop. Live music with the Linda Green Band. Admission is FREE!
